I’ve been captivated by the lens of a camera since I was 15, the same age I acquired my first camera. My grandma, a generous soul, gifted me my very first camera, and later, my second one. I’ll always be grateful for her unwavering support throughout the years. May she rest in peace.

When I picked up the camera, I knew I wanted to create magic with it. I was interested in joining the yearbook staff at my high school, but shyness held me back. I never went through with it, but a camera remained a constant companion.

Fast forward to age 26, and I finally purchased my official camera and lens set. It felt like reuniting with a passion that had always been a part of me. Now, at 33, I’ve made mistakes, learned valuable lessons, and discovered new things along the way. But most importantly, I’ve grown and enjoyed the journey of becoming a better person and a better photographer.

I’m incredibly grateful for the mentors who guided me along the way and throughout my journey, still. And most importantly, I’m grateful for myself, for being a teacher to myself and a student to other photographers before me.
